Trivia / The Big Snooze

Go To

  • Blooper: After Elmer wakes up and runs back to the log, Bugs appears to say his catchphrase, "Eh, what's up, doc?", but no sound comes out. Presumably, this is because the Catchphrase was moved to earlier in the short. When Bugs says, "What's cookin, Doc?" his mouth is closed.
  • The Other Darrin: That is clearly Mel Blanc whining "Oh, agony, agony..." note  for Elmer Fudd, not Arthur Q. Bryan.
  • Reality Subtext: The cartoon's plot kicks off with Elmer Fudd quitting Warner Bros. Quite fitting, considering that this was Bob Clampett's last cartoon for the studio.
  • Stock Footage: The scene with Elmer and the log was recycled from All This and Rabbit Stew.
  • Uncredited Role: Neither Bob Clampett or Art Davis received screen credit for directing this cartoon.
