• Creator Backlash: Author Natsu Hyuuga has admitted that she isn't too fond of the series especially with Jinshi.
• Creator's Pest: Hyuuga has admitted that she doesn't like Jinshi and is often surprised by his popularity with fans.
• The Other Darrin: In the anime, Jinshi is voiced by Takeo Ōtsuka rather his drama CD voice actor Takahiro Sakurai. This was most likely due to the ongoing controversy Takahiro Sakurai was going through which resulted in him being recast in a number of his roles.
• Playing Against Type: Unlike the countless boys that Ciarán Strange has voiced, Pairin isn't anything like their other roles.
• What Could Have Been: According to the author, Jinshi was not supposed to be the male lead. He was a comic relief character who turned out to be far more popular than expected, so his role in the story was changed.
