• Hypothetical Casting: Starting in chapter 8, a "cast list" of the Autobots' holoavatars, as well as prominent OCs, is added to the Author's Notes whenever a new character shows up. These include faces like Lyndsy Fonseca, Gerard Butler, Angelina Jolie, Peter Capaldi, Alan Baldwin, T.I., Lucas Till, Natalya Rudakova and more.
• What Could Have Been:
  • The original Relationship Upgrade for Alison and Bumblebee was going to be the two suddenly kissing one day and Mikaela walking in on them. The author realized how contrived this was and instead changed it to Miles getting Alison to realize her and Bee's feelings for each other (though she does reference this by having Miles mention how bad that original situation would have turned out).
  • The AllSpark was much more a Sentient Phlebotinum in the original draft, and was also going to side with the Fallen's plan for more power at the cost of humanity, as She didn't particularly care for them due to Sector 7's activities. This would have resulted in Alison having to both hold back the AllSpark and repel the Fallen's mental probes during her imprisonment, and when she escaped the AllSpark would withdraw Her power out of spite.
  • Cogman and the rest of The Last Knight characters were not in the original draft (partly due to the movie not being out yet), so N-Sync and her children would have affected Alison's escape by themselves, and they would have originally crash-landed in a forest somewhere in Europe and have to get in contact with the Autobots themselves.
  • There were two ideas for how the Revenge of the Fallen plot would have kicked off.
    • A standard mission where a 'Con seemingly grabs a civilian and flees, so Alison and Optimus would pursue, only for the "civilian" to turn out to be the Pretender, and it was an ambush. (Decided against cause it was contrived)
    • Mikaela's idea for her, Alison and Bumblebee to go after the Matrix by themselves was originally going to happen, with the Autobots eventually catching up somewhere in the Rockies and Optimus getting separated into an ambush. (Changed at the last minute when the author realized Galloway would use the attacks on Alison as leverage to take her position.)
• Working Title: Was originally called "The Transformers Changed My Life", but was changed to "The AllSpark Changed My Life" to better reflect the plot.
