- Creative Differences: Famously walked out of the Survivor Series 1993 match where he was to be one of Jerry Lawler's note masked knights, but Funk backed out after not wanting to get unmasked and claimed he had to "take care of a sick horse." Years later, Vince McMahon made it an inside joke to ask Funk how his horse was doing.
