  • Fake Russian: Averted as this is one of the few movies where Charles Buchinsky...sorry, Bronson...played someone from behind the Iron Curtain ('Bronson' is of Lithuanian descent).
  • Hostility on the Set: Not so much "hostility" as instead "fear", but according to director Don Siegel, Lee Remick was genuinely terrified of Charles Bronson. When asked to touch his face during a scene, she responded, "I don't dare. He'll bite me!"
  • Referenced by...: The scene in The Naked Gun where Vincent Ludwig demonstrates his Manchurian Agent technique by having his secretary try to shoot Pahpshmir with an empty gun is clearly inspired by the "Cleopatra says there will be snow from the west" scene. Same setup, dialog, camera angles, you name it.
