- Acting for Two:
- "Weird Al" Yankovic voices Gentleman Ghost and Darkseid.
- More obviously, Scott Menville, Greg Cipes, Khary Payton, Tara Strong, Hynden Walch, and Kevin Michael Richardson voice their regular characters from both the 2003 series and the 2013 series.
- B-Team Sequel: Neither the creative teams of the 2003 or the 2013 series were involved; the former due to that creative unit having dissolved a decade prior following Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo, and the latter due to being busy with both the series proper and post-production on Teen Titans Go! To the Movies (though TTG's Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic are still given executive producer credits).
- Billing Displacement: Both ways. In the opening credits, which lists the Titans' voice actors in alphabetical order, Greg Cipes is billed first instead of Scott Menville. In the end credits, everyone is listed alphabetically, meaning the order is more shuffled.
- The Other Darrin:
- Rhys Darby voices the Master of Games here instead of Jim Cummings, granted he looks completely different and he's pretty much a brand new character, even though he isn't.
- Production wise, Wes Gleason is the voice director rather than Andrea Romano (Teen Titans) and Lisa Schaffer (Teen Titans Go!).
- Role Reprise: Besides the cast members of both 2003 and 2013 Teen Titans animated series, Sean Maher returns from the DC Animated Movie Universe as Nightwing.
