  • Bad Export for You:
    • It's easy to interpret this because half the game is more or less played in silence because the localizers didn't have enough of a budget to provide voice acting for the character quests.
    • The quality of the voice acting provided is also arguable.
  • B-Team Sequel: Unlike most Tales games, Tales Studio didn't make this one.
  • Cross-Dressing Voices: In the original Japanese version, Jay is voiced by Ryōko Shiraishi.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • Walter was supposedly intended to make a Heel–Face Turn and join your party. The developers obviously changed their minds, since in the actual game, he's an unrepentant Jerkass to the end.
    • Every party members was supposed to receive one or two Mystic Artes, as evidenced by some of the unused voice files. Luckily, some of them were restored by Radiant Mythology 3, such as Shirley's Umi no Iyashinote , Will's The End, and Jay's Homura Orochi no Innote .
