Trivia / Suzanne Vega

Go To

  • Approval of God: When Vega first caught wind of the fact that DNA had remixed "Tom's Diner" without expressed permission from her or A&M Records, she was initially apprehensive, as she was fed up with all the remixes of "Luka" taking away from the song's theme of child abuse. However, when she gave it a listen, Vega was thoroughly surprised by how great the remix was, and lucky for DNA, A&M decided not to sue them for copyright infringement and instead purchased the rights to their remix, which now appears on most Suzanne Vega compilation albums in place of the original a cappella version of the song.
  • Historical Character's Fictional Relative: In a deleted scene from Pulp Fiction, Vincent Vega claims that she is his cousin.
