• Splitting Pants: Jared Padalecki actually ripped his pants when filming, which is now an infamous blooper.
• What Could Have Been: Summer Glau was originally going to play Angela, but she had to drop out at the last minute.
• Written-In Infirmity: Jared Padalecki actually broke his wrist filming "Bloodlust" (S02, E03) and had to wear a cast during the next seven episodes, so they wrote in the line "I think she broke my hand" after his fight with Zombie Angela. He didn't have a cast in this episode because they originally thought it was just a sprain. Once they figured out it was really broken, they'd already filmed some of the last scenes, and they couldn't have Sam wearing a cast in only half the episode.
