• What Could Have Been:
  • Karacas and Warbrick wanted to do both parts of Time-Police as one full episode, but the executives didn't allow for it as it would run over the time limit. Even when split into two parts, both of them still had to be edited down for timing purposes.
  • A scene that had to go from this part included Jared daydreaming while reading up on the Superjail rules, and imagining himself usurping the Warden's position. He'd also have overthrown Alice and Jailbot, and replaced them with his own assistants; an anthropomorphic beer and cigarette.
  • In a minor example, the early scripts for the episode had "Chubsteaks" called "Grub Steaks". As there was an actual restaurant with that name, the legal team asked for the writers to alter the reference. Its logo is a clear parody of Burger King.
  • Future Warden originally looked the same as his present self, but he was later redesigned by the layout artists to have a more obvious dictator look to him.
