• What Could Have Been:
  • A lot of this trope. As the original animatic reel ran nearly 15 minutes, the storyline had to be trimmed down rather significantly. Scenes were either completely cut, slightly edited or trimmed for time, or were swapped around in chronology. These are a few significant cuts:
  • After the inmates agreed to Bird's plan of making a utopia, the Twins were originally shown observing them and looking bored with the entire situation. They then decide to teleport off to "The Large Apple" (New York).
  • The Warden was originally teleported into his childhood when he fell through a random portal in the Time Court, rather than spontaneously having to relive the past. There was also a scene where the Warden mourned his father's death, but only because he noted that his father never apologized to him for kicking over his blocks (though as we can see, the Prison Mogul more accurately slipped on them).
  • After Jared was beat up and mugged while working at his cellphone job, he was to then go to his next day-job at Chubsteaks, only to be immediately fired for eating the food that he was cooking. Part of the lost sequence made it to the layout stage, though it didn't seem to get any further. In the finished episode, we only get to see a dejected Jared leaving the Chubsteaks.
  • One exchange of dialogue was cut for time, with a disturbing implication to be had: After the inmates remark on the first bird-human hybrid's beauty, one of them suggests that he needs to start making love to her so the inmates can make MORE of them. This line backs up Alice's remark about the birdman society being the result of bestiality (or "a whole lot of bird dick").
