• Development Gag: In the original game, Rosalina was going to be related to Peach in some form, but the idea was scrapped. This happens to be the case in the adaptation since she was the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom in the past, and her brother was never mentioned to have died from the plague.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: This story began in 2020, with Aster being introduced in early October. Nearly a year and a month later, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity released, introducing an official Nintendo character with a similar name, Astor.
• Word of Gay: According to his bio on mariobroultimate's profile, Aster is pansexual.
