  • Marth Debuted in "Smash Bros.": More people tend to recognize Tessa from this game (or SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos) than from her actual game of Red Earth, since that game never got a console release until its inclusion in Capcom Fighting Collection in 2022.
    • If expanded to Puzzle Fighter, this also applies to Devilotte.
  • Role Reprise: in the iOS game Scott McNeil reprises his role as Dr. Wily for the first time since Mega Man: Upon a Star.
  • The Other Darrin: Every character in the mobile phone game was recast to a member of The Ocean Group. Excluding Scott McNeil as, Dr. Wily, none of the actors have protrayed the characters before or since.
    • Vincent Tong voices Ken Masters and Dante, replacing Reuben Langdon, and Ryu, replacing Kyle Hebert.
    • Zach LeBlanc voices Alastor, replacing Mikey Kelley, Phoenix Wright, replacing Sam Riegel, and Dan Hibiki and X, replacing Ted Sroka.
    • Eliza Rotaru voices Jill Valentine (based on her 5 appearance), thus replacing Patricia Ja Lee (her voice in 5 proper), Kari Wahlgren (her voice in Marvel vs. Capcom 3, which used that design), and Michelle Ruff (who voiced her in the most recent game at the time, Operation Raccoon City). She also voices Regina, replacing Stephanie Morgenstern.
    • Jason Simpson voices Chuck Greene, replacing Peter Flemming, and Mike Haggar, replacing Matt Riedy.
    • Mark Gibbon voiced E. Honda, replacing John Snyder, and M. Bison, replacing Gerald C. Rivers.
    • Scott McNeil, in addition to Wily, also voices Frank West, replacing both TJ Rotolo and Ty Olsson.
    • Shannon Chan Kent voices Ada Wong, replacing Vanessa Marshall, and Chun-Li, replacing both Laura Bailey and Ashly Burch.
    • Tabitha St. Germain voices Morrigan Aensland, replacing Siobahn Flynn.
    • Michael Dangerfield voices Charlie Nash, replacing Mike McFarland.
