- Acting for Two: Yomogi Kasumi voices Chigara, Lynn, Alice, and Alpha in Sunrider Liberation Day. Justified, as all of them are Prototypes.
- The Other Darrin: Quite a few of the characters were recast between Liberation Day and The Captain’s Return. Kisumi Aoi was replaced by Himari as the voice of Ava. Murasaki Nina was replaced by Ayane Mako as the voice of Claude. And Mami Yahiro takes over the role of Sola from Nakase Hina, who now voices Veniczar Kuushana and Pre'ator Qisah.
- Sequel Gap: Sunrider: Mask of Arcadius came out on Steam in 2014, Sunrider Academy came out in 2015, and Sunrider: Liberation Day came out in 2016. The next game, Sunrider 4: The Captain’s Return, wouldn't be announced until December 2022 and finally released in February 2023, a whopping seven years after the previous installment with Love in Space releasing three other games in-between (including a school-themed Sunrider spin-off).
