• Acclaimed Flop: Despite having a lower Metascore than the third game, Suikoden V was the better received title since II by fans. However, the game sold only 194,780 units in Japan during its debut year, much less than Suikoden IV (which sold 303,069 copies) and was the last mainline Suikoden.
