  • What Could Have Been:
    • Apparently the movie was originally going to be titled Urban Commando, and it would've starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito as Shep and Charlie, but they choose to do Twins (1988) instead. Instead of the sci-fi elements, Shep would be a soldier who failed to stop some terrorists and is ordered to take a vacation by his superiors. He would be hosted by Charlie's family and struggle to adjust to normal life, but then have to save Charlie's family when the terrorists track him down.
    • Vince McMahon originally envisioned that, similar to No Holds Barred, a live event where Hogan wrestles The Undertaker as his character from this film could happen. This idea was quickly scrapped after Undertaker debuted in the WWF.
