- What Could Have Been: A follow-up album to Speak English or Die to be entitled U.S.A. for S.O.D. was planned pretty much immediately after the former's release. Although several songs including "Aren't You Hungry" and "Jim Gordon" were already written for the album, it was ultimately scrapped and never released.
- After S.O.D.'s first hiatus, vocalist Billy Milano formed Method of Destruction (or M.O.D.) and retooled the material written for the scrapped album into ''U.S.A. for M.O.D.'' with Scott Ian's permission. The original S.O.D. versions of most of the songs can still be heard during live performances.
