  • Was originally considered for a WWE contract in 1988, until he contracted malaria and dysentery.
  • PRIDE FC at one point was trying to recruit WWE wrestlers to fight in MMA and Blackman was among those the promotion was interested in, but the WWE turned down the offer probably due to the failure that was the WWE Brawl for All.
