- The Other Darrin: CJ's "It's showtime!" quote in "Artificial Lust" was originally done by Roger Craig Smith (albeit using a voice clip from Sonic the Hedgehog). The Rebooted update has the line re-dubbed with Cougar MacDowall's voice instead.

- Queer Character, Queer Actor: CJ is bisexual, and Cougar MacDowall, CJ's voice actor in Starlight Mayhem Rebooted, is pansexual.
- What Could Have Been:
- When CJ was first created, he was originally going to be a My Hero Academia OC and had a superhero alter-ego called Ink Punisher, but this concept was dropped later on and he became a character not related to MHA at all.
- A collab with Vs Bob And Bosip was originally planned, where CJ would appear in the mod as an opponent. Development was immediately halted after TheMaskedChris blew the whistle on numerous allegations of abuse by AmorAltra, which in turn culminated in B&B's total cessation of development after evidence of further misconduct surfaced.
- Word of Gay: According to TheMaskedChris, all five members of On Command are LGBTQ+ in some form. CJ and Olley are bisexual, Ruby is pansexual, and Max and Abel are gay.
