• The Other Darrin: Michelle Morgan replaces Torri Higginson as Dr. Weir, after she uploads her consciousness into a copy of Fran's body.
• Real Life Writes the Plot: The recasting of Weir as a copy of Fran was necessitated by Higginson declining to return for her character's swansong.
• What Could Have Been: The production team expected Torri Higginson would return to reprise the role of Elizabeth Weir and resolve the cliffhanger they'd set up with her character in mid-Season Four's "Be All My Sins Remember'd". However, after reading the teleplay, Higgonson ultimately passed and they were forced to both recast and rework their plans for the cliffhanger's resolution.
• You Look Familiar: Leanne Adachi, who plays the replicator Lia, would later play Cpl. Barnes on Stargate Universe.
