• The Artifact: The Showdown at High Noon in the climax appears to be a holdover from the original plan to film on the sets of The Wild West show Bordertown.
• Recycled Set: The village is filmed in the VanDusen Botanical Garden in Vancouver, the same location that was used in the SG-1 seventh season episode "Revisions."
• What Could Have Been: The original plan was to film on the sets of the 1989-1991 TV series Bordertown. Unfortunately, the sets were in disrepair and a new location had to be chosen on short notice.
