• Distanced from Current Events: Attempted and failed at one point. Apparently after the US did declare war on Japan some editor altered the nation blamed in the bad guys' False Flag Attack during Stardust's second appearance to "Capania", as seen in the collected edition. Unfortunately they didn't bother to change the ethnic slur or the full word "Japanese" elsewhere on the same page.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: How most comic nerds have become aware of the character. It helps that the character and his stories are in the Public Domain, resulting in a rare, 100% legal example of this.
