• What Could Have Been: The cancellation of The Clone Wars initially prevented the creators from being able to follow up on the Beast's story and the Sequel Hook at the end. It was revealed at Celebration 2017 that there was a planned story involving Ahsoka, Anakin, and Obi-Wan journeying into the lower levels of Coruscant to investigate a Sith temple far below the Jedi Temple, which would have involved, among other things, the Zillo Beast, or possibly its clone, fighting giant monsters, fulfilling a promise made in the Season 2 DVD commentary that they planned to follow up on the Beast's story in Season 7. Even after The Clone Wars was later revived and a seventh season was made, the Zillo Beast was still nowhere to be seen. It wasn't until 2023 that the Bad Batch episode "Metamorphosis" was finally able to follow up on this plotline.
