Trivia / Star Trek Voyager S 3 E 15 "Blood Fever"

• Directed by Cast Member: Variation: This episode was directed by Andrew Robinson, who plays Garak on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
• What Could Have Been: Tuvok was originally going to be the one dealing with the pon farr before it was changed to supporting cast member Vorik. Tim Russ talked the writers out of the original plot, since for various reasons, he felt uncomfortable with his character committing adultery. This may be why Tuvok's eventual pon farr was blown off in a subplot in season 7.
• You Look Familiar: The actor, Alexander Enberg, who played Vorik also played another Vulcan Starfleet Ensign named Taurik on Star Trek The Next Generation S 7 E 14 Lower Decks. Interestingly, both characters were part of the Engineering division aboard their respective ships. Makes you wonder why they didn't just make him the same character and explained it away as a transfer.
