• Special Effects Failure: Apart from the fact that the Minakans' primitive bows are actually modern target-shooting bows, the angle of the camera when Liko aims a bow at Picard makes it very obvious that he's nocked a prop arrow with a blunt tip.

  • While it's almost surprising that prolific character actor Ray Wise never appeared in another Next Generation episode, he did go on to appear in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Hope and Fear."
