• Acting for Two:
  • Brent Spiner again plays Data and Lore, switching over from personality to personality simultaneously and seamlessly during their battle for control of the Data Golem.
  • Amanda Plummer, plays both Vadic and the Starfleet scientist she took the appearance of.
• Real Life Writes the Plot: Downplayed, but Michael Dorn and Michelle Hurd's absence (Worf and Raffi pursuing Starfleet Security leads) is almost certainly a cost-saving measure for the final episodes.
• Recycled Set: The Ready Room interview with Tim Russ indirectly reveals that Tuvok's office at Starfleet Command, much like Geordi's Fleet Museum office last episode, is a redress of the Titan observation lounge.
• Role Reprise: Tim Russ reprises the role of Tuvok on-screen for the first time since the end of Voyager in 2001, although he had previously reprised the role for the Elite Force games and Star Trek Online in the interim. Unfortunately, it's as a Changeling imposter, and we have yet to figure out the fate of the real Captain Tuvok.
