• What Could Have Been: Ronald Moore's original idea was for Worf, Martok, and the Rotarran crew to respond to a colonial distress call... only to wind up in the Klingon afterlife and encounter the spirit of Worf's father Mogh. Ira Behr shot down the idea, feeling it was too complex and too late in the Season for such a philosophical episode. Moore would later finally get a chance to revisit his original premise over on Voyager.
