- Executive Meddling: Mrs. Puff was created as a compromise between Stephen Hillenburg and Nickelodeon, when the latter company wanted SpongeBob to be younger and go to school. Hillenburg disagreed, which resulted in SpongeBob going to driving school so he could remain an adult.
