• Executive Meddling: Rumor has it that the wand structure next to the ride's building was torn down early (it was supposed to last about ten years) because then-sponsor Siemens saw it as clashing with their corporate image. Epcot fans see its removal in 2007 as a good thing.
• Prop Recycling: Several of the animatronic face molds were borrowed from the Hall of Presidents, such as John Adams as a monk and William Howard Taft as an Egyptian priest.
