• What Could Have Been:
  • There was originally going to be a parody of the aforementioned commercial included in the episode, but the creators couldn't think of anything stupider than terrorism.
  • Stan's "future self" originally looked more like him◊ and didn't have a slurred voice. Clips from this version of the episode could be seen in trailers for the last half of season 6, as well as the promos for the episode itself. The changes were done to make the "druggie" angle more pronounced.
