• The Shelf of Movie Languishment: The film was made back in 1994, but would never see a release until 1997 as part of Sonic Jam.
• What Could Have Been: The short was planned to be longer as well as a Part 2 continuation but due to budget and time issues, as well as production and internal problems at both the animation company and Sega at the time, the project remains on an eternal cliffhanger.
