  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: Since the Sega Meganet service has long been abandoned and the game never saw a cartridge release, the only way to play the game now is through emulators. In fact the game was nearly lost, or at least never again seen outside SEGA's archives, the only reason the ROM was ever dumped was because it was noticed by overseas fans after it was placed on a short-lived Japan-only download service operated by SEGA of Japan. Said fans ripped the ROM from an encrypted ISO it was packaged in and released them.
  • No Export for You: The game was only released as a downloadable title in Japan. Yeah, you didn't read it wrong, this also pioneered digital distribution.
  • What Could Have Been: The game was considered as an inclusion for Sonic Gems Collection, the menu selections for the title even exist in the game's data, though for unexplained reason, it ultimately went unused.
