• What Could Have Been: Gerem was originally called "Chrono" (think Crono).
• Word of God: Though the main scenario is obvious, LakeFeperd admitted that it was specifically based on the Dark Ages of Chrono Trigger (12000 B.C.), with people living comfortably in the sky and others living in the harsh winter down below. He also claims that Dr. Ucano is some kind of god (and also mentions what Eggman could have been if he was "smart"), and just aids Sonic in the end.
  • Shrug of God: He just leaves the name of Sonic's new transformation up in the air.
