- What Could Have Been:
- Omega was going to take the emerald from Tails in Chapter 8, but the author decided Robotnik should do it instead like in the original timeline.
- Also in Chapter 8, Omega was going to blurt out in front of Sonic and Tails that he's hunting Froggy, but the author changed the scene to him keeping quiet about it so the two see Froggy later.
- For some point when making Chapter 14, the author was torn between whether Omega should join Zero in capturing Amy and Birdie, or Omega going into hibernation mode and then preparing to encounter Amy and Birdie. Considering these two options damn-near put the story in Development Hell, until he eventually decided on the latter.
