• Disowned Adaptation: Several years after the anime adaptation first aired, the manga's creator Yako Gureishi revealed that they have "regrets" over how it turned out, as they were too busy at the time to supervise the anime's production and also felt uncomfortable with the idea of interfering. One issue they cited was that the voice actors pronounced Somali's name incorrectly, which bothered Gureishi so much that they couldn't watch the anime at all while it was airing.
