- Throw It In!: On "With Me Tonight", Arnold Geller (who did the cover art of Wild Honey and was in the booth during the recording of Smiley Smile) can be heard saying "Good." after the 0:25 mark. This was purposefuly kept in by Brian who thought it was an accident which worked out in the end.
- Troubled Production: Averted, thankfully. After the disastrous attempt at creating SMiLE, which spanned over nearly a year, this album was finished in a month and a few days, and most of the band's members would recall fun times during its making."We were stoned out of our heads.
