- The pigeon enemies in Venice use sped-up versions of the noises made by the geese enemies of the last game. The slow-motion gadget (or the speed-up gadget in Sly 2) can be used to check this.
- The flashlight guards of Holland use the same noises every flashlight guard used in Sly 2.
- General Tsao uses the same noises as the Vulture Guards from Sly 2 when getting hit.
- The Other Darrin: Once again, Carmelita got this, with Alésia Glidewell, her voice actress in the second game, being replaced with Ruth Livier. However, Alésia Glidewell's vocal effects were left intact.
- Throw It In!: According to Kevin Miller on the Second Funniest Podcast, the jokes about Sly's Italian accent were put into the script after the writers heard his terrible attempt at one.
