- Schedule Slip: Episode 2 was originally scheduled for a release in July 2020. Then the COVID-19 Pandemic happened, and the release was pushed back to an undisclosed date in the fourth quarter of 2020, which it missed. It was finally released on June 21 2021.
- Troubled Production: The game had a lengthy development with some hiccups, as detailed on InnoMen’s website
. They had to find a new lead artist in 2015 after the original one left the project, and progress was slow from 2016 to 2018 for various reasons. Things sped up mid-2019, at which point they decided to release Sierra Ops as an Episodic Game so that the people who backed the game on Indiegogo would have something to play while the team finished development. The COVID-19 Pandemic has not helped matters.
