Trivia / Sidney the Elephant

• Acting for Two: As he did in the other Terrytoons show Tom Terrific, Lionel Wilson voices all the characters here.
• Divorced Installment: The Random! Cartoons short "Hornswiggle" was initially conceived as a Silly Sidney short, but was retooled to being about a similar character who was a rhinoceros rather than an elephant, mainly because it was discovered that Nickelodeon didn't have the rights to the Terrytoons characters at the time.
• What Could Have Been: Jerry Beck wanted to make a Sidney short for Nickelodeon's Random! Cartoons, but a number of reasons (including a failed Terrytoons pilot several years earlier) led to the short being turned into Hornswiggle.
