- Ascended Fanon: Defied. Robin requested that Ross Scott include Adrian yelling "Get back here, you big orange fuck!" into the appropriate scene in Freeman's Mind. Ross, not wanting the joke to be hindered by Continuity Lock-Out or be predictable, decided to go for having Adrian yelling something completely incoherent ("BACKRUUUBS!"), attributing it to Gordon's hearing being drowned out by the noise in the portal room and Adrian's thoughts not lining up with what he said out loud.
- Colbert Bump: IRAMightyPirate, creator of Barney's Mind, linked episodes of the series on his Blogspot.
- Serendipity Writes the Plot: Robin wasn't able to mod Opposing Force to get rid of the HUD or make Adrian invincible. So he simply worked it into a Diegetic Interface in the series and one scene was entirely dedicated to Adrian questioning its functionality.
- What Could Have Been:
- Robin originally wanted to make Barney's Mind, but IRAMightyPirate had beaten him to the punch.
- A second season would've been created using gameplay from an Opposing Force 2 mod, but Robin eventually dropped the idea as he grew frustrated and unimpressed with the game.
