Trivia / Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!

• Actor Allusion:
  • Lucas mentions to the guard at the military that situation could be worse if it was zombies instead of sharks. Said guard is played by Kellita Smith who also plays the main character Roberta Warren in Z Nation, a show about zombies which had an actual "zombienado" happen during its first season.
    • Bonus points: in that episode, Doc tells 10K that the*-nado could be worse — it could be sharks!
  • Lou Ferrigno plays Secret Service Agent Banner, and at one point even says, "Don't make me angry."
• Defictionalization: The Sharknado-themed video slot machine
• Troubled Production: The production crew from the first Sharknado were all fired after going on strike and demanding a union contract. The majority of the film was shot with a replacement crew of unskilled technicians.
• What Could Have Been:
  • Daniel Radcliffe apparently wanted a cameo. If it weren't for his legal issues, Jared Fogle would have had another cameo.
  • The role of the POTUS was originally written with Sarah Palin in mind, but she turned down the part. The producers then offered the role to Donald Trump, but he took too much time to decide, so businessman Mark Cuban was cast instead. Trump wasn't happy when he found out and threatened to sue the producers.
