• Colbert Bump: Expect a surge of interest in this movie anytime The World Cup rolls around.
• Deleted Scene: The Miramax American release deleted about 30 minutes worth of scenes from the original theatrical release, making the movie more confusing as a result. Fortunately, the DVD offers the option to see either the edited American dub or the original with English subtitles.
• Suspiciously Similar Song: During the climax when Team Shaolin was going to earn their victory and again when they received their trophy, the music that plays in the background very much resembles The Lion King's "King of Pride Rock" if it is not downright the same.
• Throw It In!: Several cases of Corpsing during the song-and-dance in the bar, and one of the guys beating them up for it, are retained in the original theatrical release.
