  • Breakaway Pop Hit: "The Game of Love" is the best-known track on the album, and continues to receive airplay on radio and even in the background of grocery stores. Therefore, it's gotten to the point that nobody remembers any of the other 15 songs.
  • Promoted Fanboy: The members of P.O.D. were huge Santana fans before their song was included on the album, and were honored when Carlos asked them to record a song. The band's guitarist Marcos Curiel in particular has cited him as one of his favorites on many occasions.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • "America" was dangerously close to not making the final cut, since Arista thought that a Heavy Metal track would stick out a little bit too much with the rest of the record. However, for reasons unknown, it was included on the album much to P.O.D.'s relief.
    • 3 songs were recorded for the record that didn't make it; "Let Me Love You Tonight" (featuring Tony! Toni! Tone!), "Curacion", and "Come to My World". The first one made it to the international release of the album as well as the iTunes version, but the other two were only released on "The Game of Love" single.
