Trivia / Secret Agent Clank

Go To

  • B-Team Sequel: Just like with Size Matters, Insomniac Games had no involvement with this game with Sony having outsourced it to High Impact Games.
  • Follow the Leader: With the game leaning into stealth and having a much wider variety of gameplay styles, it's clear High Impact took more than a little inspiration from Sly Cooper.
  • Pre-Order Bonus: Players who pre-ordered the game from GameStop would also be given a small PVC figure of Clank in his secret agent attire.
  • The Other Darrin: Jim Ward plays the Plumber for the first and only time, replacing both Neil Flynn from the PS2 games and Jess Harnell from Tools of Destruction.
  • Uncredited Role: For some unexplained reason, none of the voice actors are credited in the game — And it's not just that their roles are unspecified; they are simply not listed at all in either the credits or the manual. While a number of them are fairly obvious (Ratchet, Clank, Klunk, and Qwark are all voiced by their regular actors, and the Plumber is clearly voiced by Jim Ward), this leaves the rest of the side characters' voices unknown. Slim Cognito and the Thug Leader are particularly notable in this regard as it means we have no idea if James Horan and Steve Blum reprised the roles or if they were replaced with soundalikes, as judging by the characters' voices it could go either way.
