• Blooper: Ms. Miller has longer hair during "For the Last Time, I'm Dominican". This is because that song was filmed after Judy Reyes recovered from her injury so she could tango with Donald Faison.
• The Cast Showoff:
  • Several cast members showcased their singing abilities in previous episodes, but they are all on display here.
  • John C. McGinley did not know how to dance, so instead, during the opening number, he is seen jump roping.
• He Also Did: Three of the songs were written by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, fresh off of their Tony win for Avenue Q.
• What Could Have Been: The original lyrics for "Everything Comes Down to Poo" were "It may sound gross / It may sound crass / But we need to see / What comes out of your ass", but that didn't get past S&P, so the line was changed to "It may sound gross / You may say 'shush' / But we need to see / What comes out of your tush!"
• Written by Cast Member: Some of the songs were written by members of The Blanks, Sam Lloyd's a cappella group.
• Written-In Infirmity: Judy Reyes injured herself, which is why during "We're Gonna Miss You, Carla" had Carla seated the entire song.
