• Acting for Two: Chochem and Von Green are played by the same actor (Carl Don).
• He Also Did: The composer for this film, Milton DeLugg, went on to become the musical director for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade for over 40 years. He was also the bandleader on The Gong Show, and very briefly on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson (serving for a year in-between Skitch Henderson and Doc Severinsen). Before this film he co-wrote the jazz standard "Orange-Colored Sky".
• No Budget: IMDB estimates the budget at $200,000. If so, they must not have spent very much of it on sets or props.
• Referenced by...: The lo-fi group The Laziest Men on Mars (most famous for the song behind the "All your base are belong to us" Memetic Mutation) took their name from this movie.
• What Could Have Been: A remake has been bounced around the studios since the mid-90's, with Jim Carrey attached at one point.
