- Actor Allusion: Some of the characters' special attack quotes reference other Gundam characters who share the same voice actor. For example, when using the Shining Finger, Tobia Arronax quotes Sai Saici and Mu la Flaga quotes Gym Ghingham.
- And as an example for an allusion to outside of the Gundam series: Having Setsuna using God Finger triggers either one of these quotes: Young Setsuna says "There is no God in this world! And the Gundam will do/become one!", while S2 Setsuna says "This is my GUNDAM!". Let us remember who voiced him and what other role they share in common.note
- Yzak's quote for the God Finger in Overworld is pretty much a humorous voice acting blooper by Tomokazu Seki.
- Also, Wars and World features certain Battle Demos which play with this trope, such as Amuro in the 0 Gundam vs. Setsuna in the Exia R2, or Amuro and Char versus Ribbons and Full Frontal.
- In stage A-EX of Overworld, Char initially mistakes the 0 Gundam in its ACD colors and Ribbons for the actual RX-78, which the 0 ACD is an obnoxiously blatant Expy of, and Amuro.
- In Cross Rays, Azee Gurumin's special lines for God Gundam's God Finger reference her VA's role as Reiji in Gundam Build Fighters.
- Similarly, Graham Aker has a special line in case he's put into one of the Gunpla units, referencing his VA's role as Fellini in Build Fighters.
- Celebrity Voice Actor: In Genesis, Yuko Suzuhana not only sings the game's opening and ending themes, she also voices the DLC character Yuko Ortensia, who is for all intents and purposes a fictionalized version of herself.
- Fan Translation: Overworld received one in 2017.
- No Export for You: Until Genesis, which received an English language release in Southeast Asia, which is region-free. Then Crossrays became the first entry to officially come Stateside, though seemingly only for Steam.
- Recursive Adaptation: Whenever Mobile Suit Gundam: Lost War Chronicles and especially Mobile Suit Gundam: Space, to the End of a Flash are given the story treatment in G Gen, they fully utilize the Adaptation Expansion from their respective manga versions. In other words, from PS2 games (Lost War Chronicles and Encounters in Space) to manga back into games (G Gen).
- What Could Have Been: The Zaku 50 introduced in Wars was originally going to have a design similar to the Oldsmobile Army's RF suits from Mobile Suit Gundam F90 and the F91 itself, but was scrapped in favor of an MA-type design that more prominently illustrates Anaheim's bizarre decision to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the extremely deadly One-Year War with a weapon of mass destruction.
