    • Part One premiered in June 2012 and ended June 2013. Part Two, though it was twice as long, took an even shorter amount of time to write, running from August 2013 to May 2014. The author's cheerful claim that each part would take a year to write turned out to be a lot of bravado, as Part Three, seemingly of equivalent length to Part Two, began in August 2014 and hit its halfway point in December 2016. Month-long gaps between updates are the norm now, with some gaps reaching up to five months. The only consolation is that an update always consists of two or three chapters, never just one. The author is optimistic for a comeback in July 2017, hoping to resume weekly updates.
    • The illustrated version of the story hasn't updated since April 2016. Part One is completed, but Part Two has not debuted as promised and many Part One chapters still don't have illustrations.
  • What Could Have Been: Rarity was originally planned to regularly invoke Yiddish as a Second Language. This didn't end up happening in story, simply because the author forgot.
