- The Artifact: The ride was originally intended to be two-stories, eventually heading outside alongside some of the buildings within Toontown. While that plan was eventually scrapped, the doors where the cars would exit the building and the path they would take are still visible.
- Creator Cameo: The two cackling jack-in-the-boxes are actually caricatures of (and voiced by) the two lead Imagineers that designed the attraction, Marcelo Vignali and Joe Lanzisero. Marcelo also makes appearances as the voices of the bull in the china shop and gorilla bouncer at the door of the Ink and Paint Club in the queue.
- The Other Darrin: Jess Harnell, Marnie Mosiman, and Jim Cummings step in for Charles Fleischer, Kathleen Turner, and Lou Hirsch as Roger Rabbit, Jessica, and Baby Herman.
- Prop Recycling: All the barrels of Dip in the queue were actually used in the film, including one with a dent from where Christopher Lloyd kicked it.
- What Could Have Been:
- As previously mentioned, the ride was originally intended to be two-stories, but it was soon discovered the vehicles couldn't climb the ramps necessary to make it to a second floor.
- The ride was intended to be cloned as part of a Roger Rabbit-themed land at the Disney-MGM (now Disney's Hollywood) Studios around where Rock n' Roller Coaster stands today.
