• Enforced Method Acting: When filming the scene where Bob (Henning Jensen) is showing the sleep laboratory to the Minister, Henning Jensen was not told that they would find Camilla (played by Henning Jensen's wife Solbjørg Højfeldt) having sex in one of the beds.
• Role Reprise: Several members of the principal cast returned to their roles in Exodus, these include:

• Sequel Gap: The show's third and final season is going to arrive in 2022, about 25 years since the final episode of the second season was broadcasted. Amusingly, this sequence of events makes the show's development extremely similar to that of Twin Peaks, one of its obvious inspirations.
• Throw It In!: Lars von Trier and his producer were desperate for cash and only had a few loose ideas for a horror series when they first met with Danish State Television to sell what would become Riget. While trying to flesh out the concept to the sceptical television people, Trier noticed Rigshospitalet through the window and immediately said: "We will shoot it at Rigshospitalet".
